What has happened to Marshall for us to fall apart so fast? To embarrassed to answer with the truth. The product on the field is what we have and the coaching - well you decide. No bowl game this year.
they fixed their problem by cleaning house. unfortunately Hamrick doesn't have the balls to do the same... get used to losingHell that's the same question we asked them a few years ago. In both cases it was pitiful coaching

Just wonder if Doc told Birdsong last spring that he had zero opportunity to play this fall. Can't help thinking that having a legitimate option at QB, especially one who would be a threat to run the ball when necessary, couldn't have been anything but a positive in some of our games, especially close ones against conference "lightweights" this season!!
Common sense was to have Litton redshirt and have Birdsong play this season, nothing like thinking ahead. Chase was thrown into things, like Pennington and the year to redshirt might have done wonders, you never know.
And risk Chase leaving and transferring? Nobody does that nowadays. Chase would have transferred to a JUCO, balled out then landed at a P5 school somewhere. Also we probably would have killed our Tampa recruiting connection in the process similar how Doc killed his Miami-Dade recruiting with all the dismissals

The way #1or now #14 is handling business off the field, a redshirt would have benefited his maturity. Anyone else would have been dismissed. He's got some of you fooled and because of his off the field decisions, I have lost a lil respect for Coach Doc.
