This study was done by 3 Profs from Yale and MIT. They thought they would prove the 11 million # would be too high. They were shocked that it is closer to 22 million. People wonder why wages are stagnate with low unemployment then look no further.

I don't care if all of them are coming from Ireland or Iceland or Mexico or Japan. We can only assimilate so many at a time . I read where we currently allow about 1 million legals per year.

Will the wall solve this? I honestly don't know. I will tell you this , the study said that currently we have 55 million foreign born people living in the USA. That is about 17% of the population according to the guys at YALE. I would love to have some non political discussion about this. I mean it has been going on for a long time now. At some point it will really harm us as a nation.What should be done. Can anything be done?

I just finished my dinner at the best Mexican dive in the metro. I'm pretty sure no one in this place but me is here legally. And please God don't let the cooks assimilate, this is best Mexican joint in a 300 mile radius.

Good people work and eat here. I've got numerous award-winning chefs and restaurants a 20 minute drive from me but I would rather come here. This place is the real: real Mexican, and real America, a land of many peoples.

so Raoul how many illegals do you think we can take in? I mean they calculate we are now at 17% of the population being foreign born. Can we take in another 25 million? How about 50 million. I am asking on principle. Is this a numbers game or are you in favor of open borders? By the way I know plenty of people from many different nations. All of them are good people. That is not the question. The question is how many of these good people can we allow in?

thank you buckeye I like living in smallville. I used to live in Charlotte and Baton Rouge and have found po dunk to be nice.If I miss the stoplight at the Marathon station I can be to work in 17 minutes every morning.
