What is your opinion on videos like this? This website posts videos of soldiers publicly confronting other people who are pretending to be in the military. Do the soldiers go too far? Are they justified given their actual sacrifice while others are simply pretending?

Thought this might be a great topic to discuss.

For me there is no debate. These people are frauds and it should be illegal to claim to be a hero. For those who paid the ultimate sacrifice we should be protective of their honor. Shame on these frauds.

The guy seemed tweaked up pretty bad, and the stolen valor thing is kind of secondary to his general condition. What he's doing is bad, but he doesn't deserve as asskicking nearly as much as a guy pretending to be military to get laid or something, in my opinion.

The problem these pretenders have going for them, is that most of them are clueless as to how you're formally supposed to wear the uniform. A veteran will spot that BS rather quickly, since it's drilled into them from day 1.
