Straily May Miss Opening Start

I don't think we, as fans, or even the university does enough to promote the fact that Marshall has multiple starters in the big leagues in MLB.

It looks like Dan Straily may miss his opening start of the season:

Y.A.G., I was hoping to find some information on Straily as opening day approached. Still ticked off that the Reds got rid of him after his solid 2016 season. Unfortunate that he ended up in the dumpster fire that is in Miami. I believe he was on some kind of restricted contract last season with the Marlins and I was hoping that in off season he could have found a better team and gotten a good $$$$ multi year deal. Maybe he signed such a long term deal with the Marlins in the off season.

and how many does WVU have in the MLB? I think Marshall leads the way

In all of MLB? wvu has more. On the big league rosters, it will depend on who gets put on the 40 man rosters at the end of spring training. Both schools could have anywhere from 1-3.
