Why bother trying to play in these secondary bowls? I hear Georgia is concerned about being in a COVID hot spot. Let’s wait until their team withdraws and then we can play for all the marbles.

MU wanted a little more time. If they had agreed to move the game to Monday? Marshall would have then been in.
That’s how it works. Getting a game together on 4 days notice with one team not in town together isn’t feasible. That’s why we inquired if they would be interested in moving the game back a couple of days. They weren’t so we went on our separate ways.

If that's the way it happen it's lame. You know when the game is, why switch it to Monday night and compete against MNF. Beside for a part of a 5 mil payout. I'm sure any team would have taken the bowl if it had switched to their terms.
Never fear. Boise just pulled out of AZ bowl. Looks like C. Michigan is going to El Paso to play at the SunBowl. Good for them, a platform they will never see again.

This whole thing, all of these stories, seem to come from this one guy at this tout website. WTF is this guy and why should I think he knows dick about anything? Tout sites are for losers that can’t figure out sports on their own and who are too stupid to understand that anyone who really did have some system on sports gambling would never give it away on the internet.
The whole thing seems to be “phony brave”. It is the football version of “hold me back”. Knowing there is no shot at playing in two, or three or all of the bowl games, we “volunteer”, get this tout to push the story, and then in a few months the Amen Chorus can talk about how brave we are and how we just needed one more chance.
We had our chance. And we blew it. Week after week. Embarrassing losses, manhandled over and over, underperformance, disappointment, bad football.
THAT is, and should be, the theme of this off season. Not some fake story about how we could get some bowl do over and how asking for one makes us tough.
