Texas is a big ass place. The time thing should be a non issue. And old people die in their sleep ALL the timeNone of them.
What is suspicious is the security detail, how they declared death, handling of the body, and the way it was all handled.
This guy was a Supreme Court Justice. One of the most powerful men in America.
When i say suspicious, it could even entail the guy did something he shouldn't have and it killed him.
Sure he was not a model for health, but to keel over in the ranch? Then supposedly he was laying up there dead for a period of time and they finally checked on him. Had to wait a long time for the authority to get there. I know it was out in the middle of nowhere, but damn this was a Supreme Court Justice. Then the family sweeps in, no autopsy, and he is off to the funeral parlor.
Something just doesn't add up boys. He could have drank to much. Took a viagra. Did a line of coke. Had a hooker in the room. Old mafia tie did him in.
I have a good sense of these things. Something doesn't add up here.
As I posted earlier this may well be a Pelican Brief situation.
I personally don't know if foul play is involved. However, only the greatest leftist cool aid drinkers of all time would not agree that this situation is weird. Certainly the way it was handled. The left is in hog heaven as well for 2 reasons. #1 a chance to elect a socialist far out left wing judge in his place. #2 Quietly this will grant victory to several cases that may have went the other way.

Texas is big but we have jets and helicopters to get places.
This guy is supposed to be guarded by the US Marshals Service
Really? So a left wing President is now going to nominate a right wing conservative? Please read the post. I do not know if foul play is involved. I do think the way it is handled was suspect. So I stand by what I said. The left is happy to have a chance to turn the balance of the court-truth.#1 is BS
and
#2 makes no sense......Some of the cases go Left and some go Right.

well we agree on that- the GOP will screw it upSo the Senate is going to confirm a Left Wing Nominee??? Come on Man.......
Now, that's not saying the Republicans won't find a way to screw this up. They probably will.
I hope so. The last thing the court needs is a far leftist IMOactually all the names thrown out there so far have been pretty moderate. given the republican controlled senate, the odds of getting a "socialist far left wing" judge confirmed is almost nil, last year of presidency or not.
Naw...he was killed by the Star Chamber.
This is an issue of people wanting it to be suspicious.
Man dies in his sleep...period. No autopsy necessary. Especially if his personal physician says not necessary.
It's the way I would want to go. Guys weekend with friends, shooting guns, go to sleep and not wake up. Perfect.
not so fast my friend.actually all the names thrown out there so far have been pretty moderate. given the republican controlled senate, the odds of getting a "socialist far left wing" judge confirmed is almost nil, last year of presidency or not.
well maybe I chose a bad link, she is a flaming liberal even if NBC lies about itfrom your own link:
But tapping Lynch to fill the seat of Scalia, who died suddenly Saturday, poses a perception problem for Republicans because her "history as a career prosecutor makes it very difficult to paint her as excessively liberal," Goldstein wrote.
so what's the deal with the pillow over his face? surely if someone smothered the guy they would've put the pillow back.....
Yes I guess a Supreme court Justice has a suspicious death no big deal, right? Others disagree.A lot of people sleep with a pillow on their face.
