That didn’t take long

Just a few hours after Trump laid the boot into Columbia, the Columbian president not only is now allowing the illegals to land back in the shithole they came from, but even offering up his presidential plane to help fly them back.

Nice seeing swift, strong leadership by an American potus once again.
Yes. These 💩 🕳️ countries that try to play games of accepting their people back will be economically forced into compliance.

This is one area where I support Trump. If they are here illegally, I have no issue with deportation. The rhetoric around Haitians that are here legally, I can’t support. Focus on the illegals and stop with all the other BS.

You have lived in Pennsylvania for too long. It is Colombia, not Columbia.

We are going to.go after the poison entering this country...the drugs from thr cartels.. they are killing our children and people..destroying families. Enough of the bullshit.

Are you talking about the ones our government is paying people to re-settle them here?

If they are here legally, regardless of reason, that’s on us, so the rhetoric should stop.
So We should just allow thousands of immigrants to be placed in one community regardless of ability to handle that influx? They problem, and this is happening in Europe too, is there is no assimilation, celebrate your culture and country but become a part of the United States.

Again, that’s on us for handling it poorly. The community also welcomed them. If we want to attack someone, turn the finger inward but stop attacking and demoralizing the immigrants.

Not on us. On your side...
If that’s how you feel, don’t whine the next time someone says Trumps not their president.

“Us” in this case is the United States of America, the nation Trump represents.

Again, if you are here legally, fine, but cut the unbecoming rhetoric around legal immigrants.

No, that's on the shadow govt that was running our country the past 4 years.

The American people didn't elect a shadow govt, so it's not "on us."

One - I don't whine. Two - I've posted this before and I'll post it again for your behalf to address that rhetoric.

No, it really doesn't. This is the disconnect between American citizens and the ruling class I've referenced before. The overwhelming majority of both Republicans and Democrats want immigration reform. Look at the immigration numbers of the last 4 years. This is on those in charge, not "us". I believe those individuals are on your side.

Again, if you are here legally, fine, but cut the unbecoming rhetoric around legal immigrants.

So you have failed to acknowledge the question. Let me ask another then, which party has been more effective using "rhetoric" over your lifetime?

These flights are normal. There were 124 last year. Trump intentionally didn’t tell Colombia they were coming (and on military planes no less) to create a fake standoff that he could appear to win. He is a clown wanting a pat on the back for something a brain dead Biden did 124 times last year alone. You’re clowns for cheering him on.

Here’s the problem with trying to have a conversation with you, and why I often ignore your questions. They aren’t relevant to what we are discussing and you refuse to stay on topic. It always as to be an “I know you are but what am I” dialogue.

This country welcomed and invited these folks to our country. If we no longer want them here, okay, go through the due process of revoking their Visas but don’t demonize them and attack them for doing what we invited them to do. They aren’t illegal immigrants and we shouldn’t treat them as if they are.

I’m an American citizen, I’ll love, like or hate America anyway I so choose. If you don’t like that, it’s on you cause I’m not going anywhere.

Just because you don't see or understand the relevance or it doesn't fit your narrative doesn't mean they are irrelevant. So you are implying by nature you have considered 100% of all the facts, parties and circumstances and that if I, or anyone else, offer counterpoints or alternate views then we aren't staying "on topic". I prefer seeing the bigger picture myself and not relying on someone else's narrative.

For instance earlier in this thread you said the community welcomed the Somalis. That's a pretty broad statement. I merely showed you videos of local government meetings that clearly show that to not necessarily be the case. Me, I want to see all sides and opinions related to this and not blindly accept the media's filtered reporting. I'm skeptical by nature.

As for illegal immigrants I didn't think that was still a term. It used to be undocumented immigrants and now unauthorized immigrants. So I guess currently they are neither illegal, undocumented or unauthorized and I get that.

And are these really Visas? I don't think they are. I believe them to be Temporary Protected Status which aren't Visas. But I'm probably going off topic with that...

Because they are here at our invitation and didn’t inter this country illegally.
Did the communities impacted invite them or our "betters" in dc just drop them off. I'm all for helping people that truly need it but we can't help everyone that lives in a shit hole. We have communities that are just as bad off that we ignore. That welcome mat is getting worn

Regardless, it doesn't make it acceptable for our government who let them in legally to then turn around and demonize them. Some of you want to differentiate based on who is in office. It doesn't matter. In the eyes of these immigrants, we are the USA.

If Biden invited them to our country, and they are here legally, and now Trump doesn't want them here, he should revoke their Visas and ask them to leave. That doesn't mean he should attack them as humans and treat them like criminals when they aren't.

Does it matter? They still aren't criminals and shouldn't be treated like trash.

I wish you had this much concern for the people of wnc or hell even West Virginia. I never said they were criminals but they can't come and take over a community and then everyone else just ignore it. If it overwhelms said community that is a problem for the residents that were already there. Send them to a place that can handle 5-10k people like la Chicago etc not a town of 12,000

Put them all in the welcoming cities and states that provide sanctuary for illegal and unvetted foreign nationals. Period.

The rest of us didn't invite them. Those who voted for these sanctuary policies by voting for the people who gave sanctuary, should open their homes and properties to these illegal and unvetted foreign nationals.

Watch how quick the tone changes.

As from my earlier post there are no Visas to revoke. As for Biden and his parting shot...

Several countries were extended 18 months at the last minute...
