I had never paid much attention to my camera security system other than to call up a room image when I was out of town and received a motion notification.
Yesterday, I discovered that I could press a button and talk to the area that was covered by a camera. I clicked the unit that covers my loft and there, curled up on a pile of pillows, was my sleeping cat.
I pushed the talk button and yelled, “Hey, cat!” She immediately jumped up, proceeded toward the camera at light speed, and attacked before the unit went dark.
When I got home later in the day, the cat was again sleeping on the pillows and there were camera parts scattered across the bedroom carpet. I learned the hard way that it is not only sleeping dogs that you should let lie.
