The Amazing Mets

They're just trying to make it interesting. MLB didn't want them to continue winning 12 out of every 14 games, as that would make the entire division boring by the break.

Batted out of order yesterday.....
My minor league team hasn't managed to pull that off yet this year.

Yesterday? What, are you twelve hours beyond Japan? That was today, moron. If you're going to attempt to talk shit, at least get the facts correct.
My bad, I read the story and didn't pay attention to the day....because, you know, the day it happened really makes a difference...
Still doesn't change the fact it's embarrassing as hell that they couldn't manage to bat in the correct order, something 6-8 yo master.

Yeah, I already pointed that out.

The only fact is that you don't know how baseball lineups are made. The manager or bench coach writes it down to give to the umpire/opposing manager and then puts another one in their own dugout. The players followed the correct lineup order that was posted in their dugout. However, the one that was given to the umpire inadvertently switched the #2 and #3 hitters. That is the only one that matters.

It wasn't the players that couldn't follow it.

but the mets and their fans are the NY pussies. i did not realize the yankees were a topic?

Yeah, I already pointed that out.

So the Mets coaches are the dumbasses. That’s much better

Gotcha, so it’s not embarrassing. I mean, with your insightful explanation, it’s truly amazing that it doesn’t happen more often! Seriously, it’s terribly difficult to write nine names in the same order 2/3 times.

Yagi is just pissed because

Johnny Bench is better than Gary Carter and Mike Piazza

Tony Perez is better than Keith Hernandez

And Dwight Gooden and Daryl Strawberry sniffed too much blow

And, Tom Seaver went to the Reds
