Ever since the transition to the new board format, I didn't see the option to ignore individual posters. But for the last couple of months, the board has been pretty enjoyable so I didn't really have any reason to figure out how to ignore folks.

Turns out, it's pretty easy & compared to the old format, not only is it better, it completely ignores them. You won't even see a placeholder when they post & a note out beside it saying you're ignoring them. Kudos, admins.

Actually, I used the '48 hour rule' on you, meaning since 48 hours had passed without anybody posting in your thread, I felt sorry for you and decided to post ITT.

I wished somebody would do the same for me, whenever I create a lame post. WV-FAN used to help me out, but I can't even count on him any longer.

I'm hit and miss on threads. I post some nerdy science post and it might go completely ignored. Then I'll do another one and it will be extremely active. But if you really want to get a thread rolling all you have to do is use this for the title...

"Hey rifle...Fever says his girl looks better than yours."

Or...

"Hey EG..."

(Nothing else really...just "Hey EG"):p

I genuinely posted this because the ignore feature came in handy on the last board near the end. And considering I made a simple comment & it spawned a grammar war over what the correct application of "is" is, I thought some people might be looking for it.

Did someone make a post? I see a thread title, but without any content.
