By a select few namely Marine, 88, Herdman is really making it hard for the majority of us to enjoy our 8-2 season.

You guys are worst then ESPN last year

I hardly post on this main open forum. Have a couple of times recently.

Sorry I am ruining your season, Fever.

Really? Compared to the other board I think this board is much better. Yes , we do have some bitching but nothing like HF.com I left there ( was actually banned, lol) and am here now. Marine complains a little but not like that place.

Yes you would think though we are 2-8 not 8-2 with a freshman laden team and bench players forced into roles they never played before due to so many injuries. When you consider it , it's damn amazing we are 8-2.

Proud of this team!

Whenever you put a bunch of people in a room...let's say for a party...of various ages, backgrounds, maturity levels, and opinions you are eventually going to get dissent. This is a human characteristic and not one of a message board. All a message board is is a reflection of the people that visit it. This board along with Pullman and OF are no different than any of the other herd dedicated message boards. The reason there seems like more noise sometimes is because there's more people in the room. Don't let the natural tendencies of human interaction ruin it for you Fever. It would be a terribly boring party if everyone walked in lockstep with their opinion.

I like Fever, he's passionate about everything he does whether anyone agrees or not. Obviously I don't always agree with him but that's why opinions are opinions. I started on the old scout board when the Internet was still dial up (and it sucked for the youngsters who didn't get to experience it) and the boards have always been the same. One agrees, the other doesn't but one can never take anyone too seriously.

Fever, I saw where we are losing 18 seniors, 15 that are 5th year seniors....I skimmed the list and those guys have played a lot of football. Looks like you can use the rebuilding line again first time Doc blows a game we should win next year as well. You are all set. Cheer up.

i wouldn't say rebuilding, but we lost 19 seniors last year, including the cusa offensive poy and defenive poy, 8 of those seniors were were all conference. we lost the top passer in marshall history statistically speaking, a top 5 receiver in herd history historically speaking. yeah, not rebuilding, but we lost huge pieces this year.

this year's senior class is solid, evan and dj are some of the best defensive players to play here, but guys like williams, woodrum, collins, daniel, baxter, etc have been average. even further, of those seniors, the three better offensive seniors have missed significant time this year for injuries (van horn, swede, and devon).

fever, you hypocrite. All the bitchiness and negativity you show to certain other posters, makes you the last person that should be pointing a finger. And I have an idea for you, instead of letting their posts get you down, just do not read them. It is pretty simple really. Starting a thread complaining about them just feeds into it.

I think that people build sensitivity toward one another making it impossible to interact without antagonism. Sometimes you just have to take the high road and listen to the points people make without dragging those sensitivities into play. You just can't make everything personal because you got into a scrap on old TITM or Pullman months ago. Listen...disagree if you do...then let it go.

Fever what kind of play on words are you saying. Not "rebuilding" but "reloading"! Now to me - and I'm no expert, but if a program is reloading they eventually have to rebuild or vise versa or am I completely off track.

I think the term "rebuild" implies that you are going to slide record wise for a few years. "Reload" on the other hand implies that you just change players without any subsequent drop off of talent or winning. At 8-2 I think a small case can be built for reloading, but we certainly aren't the team we were last year.

The Word is Bitchassness

As used in a sentence "The Constant bitchassness as shown by @Marine03 and others over petty situations this season has really been a detriment to the fans enjoyment of what the future of this program will look like. They continually ignore the talented young players and evolution away from the Cato era. Instead of looking at the positive future of the program, they would rather be bitchasses over an 8-2 record."

I think it's better suited like this.

@HerdFever has so much bitchassness in him he won't leave the comfort of his mamas basement. Of all the bitchassness demonstrated by people on a daily basis very few have the bitchassness in them to openly admit they'd dodge a draft.

We need some of these bitchasses to turn themselves into recruitnicasses so they can help re-stock The Herd with
new talent like that BIG DL Christian Colon.

Yes, I will openly Dodge the draft which I feel is against my beliefs. And if going to jail is a consequence then so be it. No government should force their citizens into service against their will.

I guess my mom basement(which I don't live in, we don't even have a basement) will be traveling with me to San Diego where I am moving to in a month and a half

Living in Yo Momma's basement can also refer to a state of mind, a dependency on one's parents, the inability to "let go of the apron strings"...a symbolic gesture of never having the emboli cal cord cut.

Still on the teat is another way to put it

"I'm going on a hunger strike until the bitchassness stops"
Lmao Island.... I like what you did there. incorporated current events into a thread about bitchassness. both events are equally ridiculous. I'm going to quote ol Rodney King here "can we all get along? can we get along? can we stop making it horrible for the older people and the kids?" lmao cmon guys all we ever do on here anymore is argue. I understand debating and voicing opinions but most of these things are just plain crazy.

A differing belief is a person does not have the right to benefit from the advantages of a country they won't defend.

So I guess more than majority of this country don't have the right to benefit from the advantages. Join the military is a choice, not a right

Fev,
It is actually both...you have the right to make that choice. Some might say it is an opportunity to choose to serve your country.

Did you register for the selective service? That is actually required by law.
