The rich pay more than one-third of their annual income in federal taxes and more than 45 percent when state and local taxes are included. Nearly half. If not for tax breaks, they'd pay MUCH more.
The middle class pays 26 percent of their income.
The poor pays no taxes.
Our government spends 100s of billions wasting our money. Likely over a trillion.
How much more should the rich pay? They pay 45 percent now. Give us a number.
Why do you not complain about wasted government spending and continue talking about the rich paying more? You make no sense at all.
