Once again, nothing said about the corporation doing the same thing. You'd rather whine about the overrated rock and roll icon.
If a performer doesn't want to come to a state to perform, more power to them. But if they've already signed a contract & the reason the performer is unhappy has zero to do with the venue, zero to do with performer illness, zero to do with the fans who have already purchased tickets & made plans, & zero to do with the performer's safety, then they should be litigated & something right harsh. Hell, have the concert & raise hell to the masses - at the end, thank your fans & tell them unfortunately there's a state policy you disagree with & can't in good conscious come back until the law changes. But don't skip out on your obligation & dick over fans, small business owners, & employees at nearby businesses who had nothing do with the law who depend on concert crowds.
That's sort of the point Herdman is making moron. People take the overrated rocknroll icon seriously, despite not having any real idea what this particular law or real illegal discrimination is.
Ain't that the truth. Don't know if I'd go as high as 94% but from my experiences, well over half the time.
Was watching tv Sat. night and they had a Mac Brown concert and kept saying when the next performer was playing. Saw that Marshall Tucker was scheduled, so I'd flip back every little while to see if I could catch a song or two. Flipped back and listened to bits & pieces of a couple of songs and thought, "These guys really are horrible! When's Marshall Tucker going to start?" Flipped back over a few minutes later and realized they WERE Marshall Tucker!!! If I'd have paid to see that, I'd have been majorly disappointed!!!
