Turns out that John's 38 point effort was a total team strategy. The other team has a player (#18) that has played or does play professional ball overseas. Jannson told us that he was talking trash and running his mouth the whole game..."Aint nobody going to outscore me !!!"

Well, that pissed off our boys. #18 scored 33 (I think) and our guys made sure John had the opportunities to score as much as he could.


They begin their journey back home at 11:00 and have a 3 hour layover here in Atlanta.

I'm sure this trip will prove to be a great experience for them, especially the young ones. It is my understanding that they will not resume the limited practice format until the day after Labor Day?

Atl it’s J-o-n and I think that shows how cohesive this team is under DD. Jon certainly did his part going 13-16 from the field-enfuego. I know in the first couple games from the Bahamas some observed that Jon was passing up open shots to get his younger teammates involved. We have a lot to be proud of with this team. And Jannson is gonna be a big factor in just how far this team goes. It did not go unnoticed by me what a leap the team took when he was inserted into the starting lineup at the end of the year. If Jannson can approach Adjin’s production, look out.
