I don’t know what hormones a 7 year old would even be receiving, but are you by chance talking about puberty blockers, which are given to children that age that experience early puberty regardless of their trans status, simply because it’s not great for them to go through puberty at 7?

The DoD providers said in the March edition of the American Journal of Public Health that the only pathway for children of military members who present with gender dysphoria symptoms is to immediately move towards "gender-affirming health care, such as puberty suppression and affirming hormones."

The doctors said that on the basis of "human rights," "youths… have an inherent ability and right to consent to gender-affirming therapy."

Bullshit. Thats exactly what is happening prior to their puberty cycle. Kids are being given these drugs to preemptively suppress their natural changes so they can "become" another sex.
Beyond that... does a normal 11, 12, or 13 year old really understand the long-term consequences of taking a drug that could irreparably harm their natural hormonal system at this young age. Are you arguing for that to be OK?

This is someone taking the edgiest of edge cases and blowing it up into something it’s not. Very few kids go through puberty at 7. Very few 7 year olds are trans. The overlap between those two is probably countable on one hand. You going to deny the treatment to cis kids just on the off chance that it might make a trans kid’s life worse?
