I've heard that term for years, but never took the time to look into what it meant, but now
William barr "crookeds cover up guy" has explained it to me.

the president is the head of the federal govt - he is the head of all agencies - he directs
what happens in all agencies.

so, the president can tell the justice department to lock up his political opponents.

he can tell the IRS to arrest a person for tax fraud, or he can tell the IRS to stop an audit
(his - so he should do so and produce his tax returns).

he cannot be investigated himself no matter if he commits treason or attains his office illegally.

you get the point - the president is a king.
or
a mob boss who attains power by murder, or any type of corruption, and once in power cannot
be challenged.

All that is true. What he does not control is either the legislative or judicial branches. The FBI can charge anyone, but they can't convict them. The IRS can audit anyone, but a tax court will settle disputes. Congress has oversight authority over folks like the DOJ and FBI, as well as all intelligence agencies.

You know, it's that whole three branches of government, checks and balances thing you should have learned in school. You should have paid attention.

What's odd is that you didn't seem to mind as Obama weaponized his executive departments. You didn't mind when his IRS clamped down on conservative 501c3 applications. You don't seem to mind that his DOJ and FBI colluded with the Hillary campaign, etc.
