It is a good story no doubt and I think Clark is a hell of a coach but the NCAA did grant UAB some privileges to that allowed them to compete much quicker. They have 35 seniors on the team.

So - does that mean that they will have a huge drop-off in experience in 2019?

One would think, but not sure how many Juco's and Grad Transfers he has waiting in the wings. I like the guy as a coach and person. Seems top notch.

They could have let Doc sign 60 and he Wouldn't have been able to keep 35 around for 4 years ....

New 45,000 seat stadium scheduled for 2021. ODU is going to start tearing down and rebuilding their stadium, apparently, after this season. Sounds like some CUSA schools are getting more serious about trying to be competitive, even successful, in football. Especially, apparently, those in the larger urban areas where they have a lot of alumni in the area. Include NTSU in that bunch with their $60 million stadium in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro area. Has to bode well going forward for CUSA football in general we can certainly hope!!!

ODU doesn't plan on expanding the seating from what I read though. Still only about 22K. Why???????
