This is an Interesting Story

What's to stop a pervert from hovering next to your daughter's bedroom window without you knowing?

Pervert? I think that guy would be a genius.

If it were herdman's daughter, I would think the peeping-Tom would be scared off by the nooses and white hoods hanging from the clothesline in the backyard.

Damn right, I don't play.

I know a few things about drones. I support the home owner as well.

That being said, he is technically wrong. He doesn't own the air space in his yard or above his house. The FAA or military controls the air space starting 1 inch off the ground. In other words you don't own air space, even on your property.

However, the owner of the of the "drone" could possibly be in trouble with the FAA over flying to close to the building and for privacy issues.

This is really blown over board. The guy should not face charges other that perhaps for firing off a firearm in city limits. I know where I live that is a small time charge and a $150 fine or something like that issued by the town.
