The way they treated our vietnam veterans ranks right near the top of horrible acts by americans. Long haired hippies sure made a horrible choice to come down hard on veterans as soon as their plane or bus arrived. They were right about the war. That was a civil war and the north was a powerful army. They kicked our asses. Not the fault of the soldiers with westmoreland running the show. All he cared about was body count. Ho chi ming said if they could kill one american for every 10 viet gong or a soldier from the powerful north vietnam army they would win the war.. They didnt wear pajama's and hats but dressed for battle with chinese battle gear. Ak 47's killed alot of our boys. We underestimated them big time.

Oh my gosh. I have family in seattle. It happened evety day there. On their local news they ran a story everyday on the events at the airports. Most of the soldiers flew into seattle. They all faced it there. No joke but in states that voted for trump would not spit on veterans. Just sayin

And your second statement is pure rubbish. The Clintons in particular represent a wing of the Democratic Party that resembles pre 1980 Republicans. If you said the number of votes received by Sanders shows support for move to the left you would then be correct. The only reason Bill Clinton, and thus Hillary, are Democrats is because Arkansas was a lot like WV...people were Democrats simply because their daddy and granddaddy were.
I know there are only two choices unless you want to throw vote away. I certainly don't need a history lesson on the democratic party...we can do that and it is fun but no time now.
Clinton pushes socialist policies and identity politics. She never had a chance with folks with the ability to reason and the desire to work. She wins those that are suckers for identity politics, leftist ideologues and those that want to suckle the government teat.

Social programs and socialism are very different things. I am open to discussion on the scope of social programs, but it's usually useless when the other person insists on calling social programs "socialism", especially when the other person is too dense to realize they themselves have used and benefited from social programs. I'd also entertain a discussion on the merits, or lack thereof, of actual socialism...but that's difficult when people seem to be confused on what that is.
So again, I'm pretty sure you used socialism as a euphemism for "helps lazy negroes and white trash". And it's fine to feel that way (if Trumpism has changed anything, it's that). I'd even agree up to a point that some game the system to maximize idleness. But it's still not socialism.

I'm not going to waste much time on you as your confidence seems to far exceed your knowledge or ability to reason. Bottom line, if you can't see the DNC and their platform/ideology is pushing (or trying to) our country towards a socialist democracy much like the western European nations then I don't know what to tell you. You must not pay as much attention as you claim.
Knowledge? You are the one that claimed the DNC wants actual socialism. "Socialist Democracy" isn't socialism. And it's hardly leftist. Besides health care, I would say we are pretty much a social democracy already. I understand your argument is for less social spending, I'm just saying YOU are the one who lacks enough sense to know the DNC platform has never called for actual socialism. Shit, what we call social democracy can't exist outside of a capitalistic framework, capitalism is a requirement for social democracy. Otherwise it actually is socialism. And make no mistake, there is a small but loud faction that does want actual socialism.
What social programs in the USA do you advocate ending? Or do you just want spending rolled back? That's the actual argument between Dems and GOP. Even Obama, who you think is a Communist, didn't advocate "European social democracy".
And of course I threw in some "identity politics" (another useless term). Most politics IS based on identity. Except for a brief time at and immediately after the nation's founding we've been all identity politics. The GOP been riding their current identity politics since Nixon.
