Black uniforms for the FIU game. Are we actually getting them? If so, what does everyone think about that ?

Personally, I hope we do get them. And if we do I am going to be pumped. I think we have the possibility to make some sick looking uniforms with the mixture of black and kellly green.

As a fan, I feel like if you have a black out without black unis, then you are just wasting time. Have had at least 1 blackout i can remember in recent years maybe more and I thought it was pointless to do since the team wasn't wearing black.

Also,doing stuff like this puts some people in the seats. While people like myself will be at every game regardless , some casual fans feed of of stuff like this. Although, if that place is not packed because of the ceremony that morning then I will be disappointed in our fan base. No excuse to not show up , especially on such an important day of remembrance.

I'm not a big fan of the black uniform thing. I'd rather the team focus on preparing for the other team and not what color uniform they are wearing. If they go with it, I'm not a hater.

I dont really care either way, but having alternate unis to break out once a year or on special occasions seems to get the kids fired up and that is what matters to me. Have fun with it.

They are going to do black, but I don't know how.

They need to not overdo it and keep it simple, could look real good if done right.

I think we should. Our fan base and AD are stuck in old times. Alternate unis, unis for big games, helmet changes, etc make the atmosphere exciting for an otherwise boring 3:30 matchup.
I like black pants with green stripe, black jerseys with green numbers, black helmets with green block M as a design

Flat black helmet with the M would be ok. I would be shocked if we waste money on another set of Unis. I hate our away unis now and they used to be my favorite. If they were going to do it right they needed to have white pants with green stripe. The white Jersey with green accent on the shoulders and green pants with the black stripe looks mismatched.

Also, the guy who is in charge of setting the locations for college gameday tweeted that Marshall is being considered for Gameday against FIU.

If you have twitter, blow it up...james collier is the guy who does all this stuff for ESPN.

It would be awesome with a combination of a blackout game and gameday...
