That was a nice shot, being that it was TW made it an even bigger deal.
I’ve never seen TW put as poorly on poa annua as this past weekend. So did several other players, it was amateur hour Saturday afternoon.
Tiger used to never miss those putts. That is part of the difference now.
As for that shot. That shot is not only hard because it is a fade out of the bunker, but he did it with a 9 iron. It is hard to do that with a more lofted club.
I agree that Tiger made it a bigger deal, but that shot was amazing. There are very few golfers past and present who could have pulled that off.
I believe that’s called luck.
He had no idea it would take a 30 foot bounce towards the cup. Sure he played the spin but to say there wasn’t luck involved is asinineSeriously? If you skull it and it does that ok. He played that shot.

Tiger is back to #12 in the world. Amazing comeback with a body that is pieced together.
Tiger can't even do that.
He put a cut spin on it and played the slope of the green. He had no idea it would take a 30 foot bounce towards the cup. Sure he played the spin but to say there wasn’t luck involved is asinine
So what is your handicap?Yeah, it takes one hell of an athlete to walk around 18 holes and not have to carry your own clubs.
His ego?So what is your handicap?
