Tim Duncan- what has led to the longevity of his NBA career.

Realize this is not Herd related however what an amazing NBA career for sure..one unreal athlete. What is it about this guy that has allowed for his longevity.

Have watched the Pelicans vs the Heat (Whiteside again looked great)- overtime game that was fun..especially Anthony Davis ( UK)
Oklahoma City ( Billy D ) vs Chicago , interesting finish for sure.
Warriors ( an amazing start to the season for sure) vs Cleveland..Seth Curry is just flat out unreal
Now have on San Antonio ( Tim Duncan) vs Houston ( James "the beard" Harden.

Not really what you would call a major fan/watcher of that many NBA games until the playoffs but without any football/bowl games today and my love of hoops in general plus the NBA's continued wall to wall games on Christmas day why not.

Duncan is just the living example of the term "consummate professional". He approaches his game with focus, skill, pure fundamentals, and class.

Think a lot of the deal with Tim Duncan ..conditioning , taking care of himself over the years..staying away from the problems of so many in the league and just wanting to play ball , do whats right and in the end its paid off very well. Top drawer player for sure.
