Tim Kane and Terry McAuliffe working hard for Hillary.

EG here you go - let me guess these "dead" are not Democrat votes.....right?

Do you believe those who have paid their debts to society should never be allowed to vote?

I do. They are told before they enter a plea or are convicted by a jury and again when they are sentenced they have lost this right, as well as the right to possess a firearm. Want to vote or own a gun? Dont commit a felony. Its really not a difficult standard to uphold.

Should they lose all Constitutional rights?

Nope, but im fine with them losing the right to vote and possess a firearm.
Why not? If we take two of their rights away from them, why not take the rest? I thought the point of jail/prison was to punish and rehabilitate convicted individuals over a determined time period, a time period in which the majority of their rights and freedoms are revoked until they have satisfied the terms spelled out by the courts. A problem we have lies in how we have over criminalized many aspects of our lives (we can thank the industrialized prison complex and prison guard unions), in some states, possession of small amounts of pot equals a felony, do you think someone should lose their right to vote for the rest of their life if they get caught with a joint?

Yep. No problem whatsoever. Btw, im not aware of any states that make a joint a felony. What are you calling a small amount, and which states are you talking about?

Yes, I do believe that. Besides, this is all an attempt to help Hillary win Virginia. Why else would they be doing this? They sure wouldn't do it if they thought felons would vote Republican, that's for certain.

I believe Arizona has some fairly strict laws on the books...

Are you against it because you feel it will benefit Democrats more than Republicans?

Constitutional rights. Those will do them a lot of good when nobody will hire them anymore. Their lives are over anyway. I don't know why they didn't just hold up a toy gun and let the cops shoot them.

Ar you trying to get Fever to join this thread?

Btw, the loss of the right to vote is, in and of itself, Constitutional (14th Amend.). Moreover, it is left up to the individual state to decide.
Btw, is the right to vote the only one you want restoref, or would you also like felons to sit on juries, possess firearms, etc.?

The 14th Amendment mentions participation in rebellion, or other crime, it does not clearly spell out what "other crime" is.
Do we have a right to sit on a jury?
I have mixed feelings on firearms. If someone is not deemed to be a threat to society and they have done their time, they should have a right to firearms.

Thats why we have the judiciary, who have interpreted the phrase time and time again to include felony offenses - including many SCOTUS opinions.

How much?

Getting mad can be a hell of a rush. These days, the only thing that seems worth it is terrible drivers. And yep, after denying it all this time I'm ready to admit there are a lot of them here.
I should have probably said angers/frustrates me. ;)
