There's no way to avoid getting $20 bills, so it's time to use the debit card for all purchases. Even $1 menu items at McDonald's. Some old ugly black woman on there. Who the hell wants to see that?

At least if it was Aunt Jemima, she would be smiling and remind me of how good pancakes with syrup are. I'd keep using cash if it was her on it. This picture they're using is of some old woman looking pitiful to try to shame you every time you buy something. Terrible.

They might as well just put Whoopi Goldberg on all the money.

Card only. I better stay out of the sticks where they don't have card swipes.

It is getting to the point it is almost laughable.

I wonder if we will even make as a country to the end of my lifetime.

Sometimes you just want to sit back and watch the circus freaks bring the whole thing down.

In 2030 you two guys will be dead from heart attacks. You don't have anything to worry about. And hell by then we will be paying by fingerprint or retina scan
 
How is it going to take that long to get this going? That's what I'm just now reading. At first, I thought maybe I will be dead by then. But they got this other stupid looking money out faster than that.

Remember those shitty Sacagawea coins they had? Couldn't avoid those either, as McDonald's gave me back four of them once for change.

I am not sure the country will make it until 2030. The flower children hippies were f888ed up but now their kids and their grandkids are double and triple f***ed up. You are talking about a country who thinks high school and college kids should make $15 to flip a damn $1.00 cheeseburger.

What happened to the queers anyway? They had that one fat thing going to the bathroom or whatever, but for the most part since they got their marriage they've been out of the news.

Shows you how unpredictable this all is. I was all worried about queers on Folgers commercials. Wasn't even thinking about money that pretty much screams "YOU OWE ME THIS" on it.

Curious...what are your thoughts on the mark of the beast? It's supposedly a mark on the forehead or hand used by the followers of the antichrist. The whole Revelation thing just seems so far out there to me. I'm curious how peple reconcile some of that stuff with what's happening in the world.

GK, you're asking the wrong guy about Revelations. Some of it is pretty simple, but most of it (for me) is beyond my current understanding. It appears to me that much of that particular book of the Bible contains symbolism, allegory, prophecy, things in the past and future. As for my amusement with herdmans remark, I wish I had made a list of all the things I've heard people say was the mark of the beast. Below is the totality (as far as I know) of what is said about antichrist. These scripture tell you what antichrist is. It doesn't appear to me that it's a singular person any one could follow, and I think the scripture below defines antichrist about as plainly as could be done.


1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Not sure, I guess after this bathroom deal they will still be queers and you really don't hear much about them. They have got everything they wanted. Marriage, getting kids, uni sexuality bathrooms, etc.

Now we are back to race relations.

anyway, the transgender bathroom is only a small portion of hb2 and i've never claimed that specific portion of the bill was discriminatory. i am baffled why republicans act as if they're protecting individuals from predators while making a bill that puts transgendered identifying people in the same bathrooms as those they're most likely to be sexually attracted to...but maybe that's just me?

do you think illinois will be swift to enact a rule that will prevent republican congressmen from high school boys locker rooms?

I tell you what I would do if I owned a business. I would just take the restrooms out for the public and only employees could use it.

You are not allowed in most municipalities. Building codes and permits to build require it for public places or businesses with restroom facilities.

No. Apparently what we are learning here is that action would most likely be "discrimination". Illinois being a leftist state, most likely wants the rights of all (including molestors) to be unencumbered.

I find this interesting. Are you suggesting that many predators are actually men who dress like women? Maybe you are actually the stereotypical bigot.
Also, should straight men and women be worried about being in restrooms where someone may be sexually attracted to them?
 
Actually I would like to see dogs on the bills - $1 Chihuahua , $5 Cocker Spaniel , $10 Collie ,$20 Rottweiler , $50 Black Labrador, $100 Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Restroom issue - most all of the concerns have been ongoing for many many years when you think about it..and many probably never knew. Instead of dealing with the economy , terrorist or possible terrorist attacks here and abroad , employment ( meaningful jobs vs fast food) and the like , we are concerning ourselves with bathrooms and revamping our currency ..the really important things..lol.

Would you want these clowns running the show to make important decisions? Keep 'em on the minutia.

I'd rather have the Taliban on $20 bills than dogs. People can't handle dogs anymore. They keep them in the house and put stickers all over their cars. A dog used to be for keeping outside and maybe taking hunting. Now it's a worthless living fuzzy ornament. Idiotic, time to gas 'em.
 
I'll do it one better and not keep a dog at all.

How about when these bums who claim to be homeless have their dog there with them? That's always a lot of bullshit. You want food? Eat the dog first and then we'll talk. I'm not giving somebody money to waste on feeding a dog when they can't even feed themselves.

that is the way it was done when I was growing up. Who wants a Norwegian Elkhound in the House. Damn, they were not made to be in the house. We had one. Lived outside his whole life and he was happy I guess. He lived for 16 years all outside.

I could see one of those lap yappers but some dogs are fine outside.

I was just going to mention how certain breeds are fine with being outside, such as a Husky or Saint Bernard in the dead of winter.

Those same breeds would be miserable outside in the summer.

Either way if you have a dog alone outside it is not getting pack interaction. That is why we have two dogs, so they have each other when we are at work. Dogs also need to walk to be happy, it is in their genes.

Of course cats don't give a shit to be alone. That is why they are better pets for most people.
 
How about that British?

At least 96% of British speaking people sound terrible. That's not so bad when you compare it to 83% of American English speakers. Most people really have awful voices.

The rate goes to 100% for anybody speaking anything other than English. They're either chinging, chonging or just imitating Charlie Brown's teacher.
