You must win your conference in order to get the access spot. Now that NIU beat them, Toledo has very little chance to even win the west, let alone the MAC. Both NIU and Toledo have 1 conference loss and NIU has the tie breaker.Well Toledo lost. If all else goes in our favor with aac teams losing and us winning out.... do you guys think Toledo would still be ahead of us or do they need to lose another? I mean both losses are mac schools and toledo has beaten a "ranked" sec team and a big 12 team. The records of those other teams are irrelevant bc we all know the committee goes by name recognition and I guess that's what scares me. Everything else has to play out perfectly though for this to matter or for us to even sniff at an access bowl but it is just something I wanted another opinion on.
And Central & Western Michigan. I don't think they will, but they could end up losing their last 4 games.Toledo still has to face their rival Bowling Green (at BG) on Nov. 17. That could be Toledo's second loss.

The same will happen with the AAC schools. Only 1 can have a shot since there will be a single conference winner.
