Tomorrow

Appy State becomes a conference game, MU picks up Gardner-Webb on October 1. As only one I-AA win can count MU would have to go 7-5 to be bowl eligible, and would be treated as a 6-6 team if there are too many 6-6 teams for all the bowl slots.

Like the pair of the two Georgias, meaning one trip to Georgia per year. Would have liked to see the two Virginias likewise linked, and thus have Coastal and Appy linked, as those look like the easiest ticket sells and we get both at home in one year, neither in the other, but NBD.

You must be lost.
Go remind Judy you want first tickets to the Liberty vs. Jacksonville State game.

I wouldn't be surprised to have 3 total national TV games - Notre Dame, Louisiana, and App State.
If by “TV” you mean actual linear TV, maybe. Everything will be on ESPN+.

Notre Dame is no question, either NBC or USA Network.

Louisiana is already scheduled for an ESPN channel, my guess is ESPN2.

Appy State? Well, the SBC contract calls for 15 games on actual linear TV per year. We are currently at 9, the 9 weekday games, meaning ESPN is obligated to carry 6 Saturday games on linear TV (ESPN, ESPNU, ESPNN, ESPN2, or, theoretically ABC). First, ESPN already has two Appy State games scheduled, Georgia state on October 19 and Coastal Carolina on November 3, and would be pretty certain to carry its home game vs. UNC and, in the SEC package, its game at Texas A&M the next week. Does it really want ASU a fifth time, and two weeks in a row? Looking at the matrix, the Disney group has the rights to well over 50 games on that Saturday, including some good ones. I suspect that ESPN will get its six linear games much earlier in the season, when the big teams are playing cupcakes. I would look at:

UNC @ Appy St. Sept. 3
Army @ Coastal Sept 3
UNC @ GA State Sept 10
Liberty @ Southern Miss Sept 3
Army @ Troy Nov 12

As very good games for ESPN to fulfill its 6 Saturday game obligations, plus a couple of later games based on records. We would have to being doing much better than last year to be considered.

Yes, that's what it says on the schedule. Likely an ESPN network game. If you prefer Saturday, see if you can have it moved to Facebook and/or Stadium.
Calm down before you shoot in your pants.
It's been a while since MU's been so in the middle of the week like that.
I don't mind the dsy, as said it can be a pretty hyped up game, so it can work for everyone.
I wouldn't know about Stadium/Facebook, ask Goddamn Sam since he gushes over CUSA and Judy about that.
