Trump declares Opiod Crisis

I am sure that many have different views on this but I for one am glad he is giving attention to this. I work in a Health Care System in Ohio and can atest this problem is huge.There is nothing worse than to be in the ICU unit and see 3-4 young people in recovery from drug overdose. I recently sat in and listened to Sam Quinones author of the book Dreamland talk about this epidemic. I recommend one pick up a copy to read the history of this. Amazing enough our region is ground zero for this. I know my old neighborhood in Huntington is overun with this problem now. It is sad to drive through and see the destruction of once proud working class areas of Huntington now is disarray. Like Sam said we need everyone, Clergy, community leaders, concerned citizens and civic officials to all pull together. Like mayor Williams a few years ago we need the help of the Almighty....just saying
