Trump destroys LeBron

LeBron is cocky and all that but if you have been worshiped since you were 14 you would be cocky too.

But LeBron’s charity work is no joke. He does an amazing amount of good. Plus he’s heavily involved himself, he’s not just putting his name on a charity to get the publicity.

This is the type of stuff I really dislike about Trump. I hate that he feels he has too comment on everything. Let it go who cares if LeBron hates you. Don’t say anything, say I’m too busy running the country. But know he has to comment and throw in the dumb card. I just don’t get it why somebody can’t say stop!!!
Oh Trump is masteful. You see Trump country is not NBA country. The average guy out there is not an NBA fan. The NBA is a big market sport. Fly over country, the average joe in the South, the guy on the farm, etc hates the NBA. And, guess what they really don't like Lebron.

The good old boys will take about jordan, magic, byrd, kareem, etc. They will even talk about Steph Curry.

Lebron. Forget about it. Lebron is controversial in the Trump base. More so than Kobe. A lot of guys see Lebron as a traitor(the whole I am taking my talent to South Beach) and they get pissed about the Jordan comparisons. Then, when they see Lebron going back and forth with Trump they really get mad at Lebron.

Most of the country doesn't even identify with the NBA.

Trump is playing that like a master violinist.

They will talk about and like Steph Curry, the guy who has also had similar responses from cheeto and who has spoken out against cheeto, but they don't like LeBron? More brilliant insight from Herdman.

cheeto is playing this like a master violinist, yet his stripper-wife immediately responded about LeBron in a completely different way. I'm guessing that's part of his plan, too, right?

Translation: NBA is a bunch of naggers.

But let's really think about your "big market sport vs fly over country/the South" statement. Exactly what would you call Salt Lake City, Denver, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, fvcking Cleveland, Memphis, Charlotte, New Orleans, and Atlanta? There sure is a lot of South and flyover country in the NBA.

Now I'd buy an assertion that the average Joe doesn't care about pro sports. I'd even go so far as to say sports in general. But the thought the NBA is a coastal/huge city league is incorrect. It's more small market than MLB, really.

If you jerk him off any harder, you’re going to pull it off.

You’re worse than most Obama supporters.

Herdman's post was spot on, and articulated masterfully. The places you listed are certainly located in fly over states, but if you check the population makeup, you'll see why those folks like them some NBA with their chicken and malt beverages. Drive anywhere 15 minutes outside Indianapolis and you'll encounter a high percentage of population that's similar to yourself, WV-Fan, Herdman, and myself.

Big cities. Charlotte is in the south but a big city and nobody outside Charlotte gives a damn about that team

I love the JNBA but could care less what Steph curry"s political views are. James is like me. Because we both graduated from high school but skipped college to begin our life of work. James is first class

People here kinda like the Pacers. Of course college basketball is king, but the Pacers do have a fan base outside of actual Indianapolis. The Colts are huge, even when they suck.

Can black people in these cities even afford NBA tickets? These towns are not NYC, Chicago, and LA. Most blacks in Louisville are UofL fans, but go to the Yum Center and the attendance is very white. I know it's college vs pros, but shit UofL might as well be pro basketball, with the cash, hookers, and all.

Wrong.

There are a lot of blue collar guys, average Joes, in northeast Ohio and northern Ohio who follow the NBA and like LeBron.
