Trump wants Ryan to step down

If it wasn't for him, Hillary would be president. The greatest accomplishment of all was keeping her out. And as of today, the Democrats still have nobody. They've got a cupboard full of shit just like we had before Trump. Trump's the only winner. The rest of them are losers.

In the meantime we all are fvcked by the winner of the biggest loser campaign

Pffft, they got you too?

This is a show. Just like sports. No matter who wins, we're all fortunate as hell in this country.

It's not a show to others besides asexual white males like you.

It isn't a show if you're gay and can't get married which eliminates spousal benefits, medical decisions for a dying spouse, etc.

It isn't a show if you're a woman who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars less in a lifetime than a male in the exact same position.

It isn't a show if you're a 15 year old girl who was raped and can't get an abortion since all of the clinics have been forced out of business and are now 300+ miles away from you.

It isn't a show if you're a Muslim and have your rights taken away that other religious followers have.

It isn't a show if you're black and can't find an apartment to rent due to racist property owning moguls.

Cry me a river

So now they're not helpless. So nobody's keeping them from doing whatever they want.

Thus, the show goes on.

This concept shouldn't be over your head.

If gays can't get married, they are being kept from doing "whatever they want."
If Muslims can't get on a plane, they are being kept from doing "whatever they want."
If a 15 year old rape victim can't get an abortion, she is being kept from doing "whatever they want."

Stop with the moronic act for once.

I couldn't help but laugh when I got to the bottom of this list and saw Xgreed had "liked " it. The list of ironies would still be going.

So now they are helpless again.

I still say it's a show. But the show's over tonight. I'm old, white, sleepy, and sure as hell don't want any.

Says the white, Christian male who has never been disenfranchised.

Who is helpless? You and Herdman would be the first ones to complain if you ever get treated unfairly. Yet, you have a problem when others complain about it.
How do you know?

I know a lesbian and she has a wife and three kids.

Muslims can get on a plane

Abortion is still legal

Any more talking Points?

I was thinking Rifle's list was a potential interesting plot for a reality tv series. Being that he is an entertainment mogul, he should be all over this one.

Fill a B-747 jet with (super duper tolerant) Muslims; Gays and Lesbians who have been forbidden to get married; pregnant women wanting/needing an abortion; set up a chapel in the back, a fetus vacuum in the lounge, a half ton of stones in the cargo hold, and fly it out over the pacific.

What happens?

I know a lesbian and she has a wife and three kids.

That doesn't happen everywhere. Disenfranchised.

Muslims can get on a plane

Not all of them. Many are on a no-fly list with no due process, no explanation, no evidence, and no infraction they've committed. Disenfranchised.

Abortion is still legal

States like Texas have passed legislation which makes it very, very difficult, especially for the young and/or poor, to get abortions. Before the legislation, there were over 40 abortion clinics throughout the state. Just a few years after the legislation, the number has dropped to 14. It means that many poor or young in parts of Texas have to travel over 300 miles to a clinic. The legislation forces them to have to stay multiple days in that area. After factoring in hotels, travel, medical, etc., it becomes very expensive (not to mention time-consuming). When you consider that many of these females already can't afford life, this legislation did exactly what it was intended to: make it impossible for these people to be able to abort the fetus. Disenfranchised.

I was at the Demi Lovato, Jake Owens, The Band Perry, Cole Swindell, and Randy Travis concert last night. I made it a point to wear my ACLU hat, which earned plenty of comments from the many rednecks at the show.

Outside the name of Randy Travis, I really have no idea who the rest of these people are. I am sure they are important in the music world but I couldn't name one song any of them have produced.

At least you didn't wear the pink pussy hat you probably wore during the last rally. ;)

I like pink pussy. Figures you wouldn't Raleigh.

That's proof that you are out of touch with middle America just like the leaders of your political party.

How do you have no idea who Demi Lovato is? Her songs have been on top 40 radio for nearly a decade. She was a judge on a highly successful television show, X Factor. She's had numerous magazine covers for Cosmo, Glamour, Seventeen, etc. Even if you don't read those magazines, it's hard to miss that exposure if you are in a grocery store line, at a book store, etc. She had a long relationship with a famous actor. She's been in all forms of media due to her drug abuse issues, eating disorder, etc.

I can't name a song by any of the others since I don't like country, but I would recognize their hits and at least know who they are. She has 56 million Instagram followers which puts her #21 in the world in front of Hollywood A-listers like Justin Timberlake, Ellen, Rihanna, LeBron James, Vin Diesel, Drake, Adele, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown.

Just like your party, you are out of touch with middle America. Now I know why you butchered the argument about the DC beltway and the Republican party having had the uneducated fly-over state vote for decades.

I guess if my goal was to remain "middle" then I would pay attention to such worthless information.

I'm sure I've heard their music, but being able to ignore freakishly following someone on instagram like a teenage stalker or choosing to not pay attention to tabloid nonsense at a checkout counter actually improves my personal outcomes.

My general philosophy is to do exactly the opposite of what the larger crowd chooses to do with their "free" time. It's served me well.

.

That's quite the extreme attempt there, Raleigh. One doesn't have to "freakishly follow someone on Instagram" to know who Demi Lovato is. They don't have to look at magazine covers while waiting to checkout at the grocery store. It is called being cultured; pop culture is a part of being cultured.

I don't like metal, but I know who Metallica is. I don't like country, but I know dozens of country artist names. I don't like opera, but I know many names of opera stars. I don't like golf, but I know plenty of golf names. I don't like most comedy movies, but I know of many movie comedians. It's called simply being aware.

You've been struggling lately . . . even more than usual. Get some rest this week and maybe you'll come back next week at DTard's level.

Sadly enough, I even know who Demi Lovato is. She yells real loud about something being complicated. It was tolerable.

Early last year, I would listen to 30 minutes of pop music a day on the Music Choice channel as I walked in place as my exercise. These days I've been walking up and down the aisles at Kroger before I buy my stuff.

Anyhow, I did listen to quite a bit of pop music. Mainly because I heard it a lot at the mall and in Kohl's. I like to go to those places to look at all the stuff, huff the candles, bitch about the prices and walk out being prouder than a peacock (cue dirty jokes, etc.) that I didn't spend a dime in there.

Demi Lovato though. I can't listen to her now. It's too bright and hot these days. She's too loud. The music is too complex and intense. Back to the hicks for me.

Rifle arguing about Demi Lavato while confirming he doesn't like Metallica...

all we need now is a picture of him wearing an "I'm With Her" muscle shirt and skinny jeans.

he used to be the stuff of internet legend. WVU posters used his benchpress and chick bangings as their signatures.

i am dissapoint

So "struggling" is not knowing who Demi Lavato is??? LMAO. Sorry, but if being "pop cultured" is like being a "walden" or a "dtard" (sorry guys)..... I'll regrettably pass.

For the record I prefer jazz and some classical to the current "pop" line ups but its a matter of personal taste. You really need to quit taking everything so personal. Just because someone doesn't know who Demi Lovato is, isn't a slam on you or your day to day business.

I tried to be. Being a mime kind of sucks. I tried to get out there and see if I could talk to real people in the real world.

There is no interest. I will either have to interject my own interests or forget it. I can't get in with pop music and wasting exorbitant amounts of money for trinkets and labels.

I meant no personal animosity to you with my comment. However, you are apparently the "bar" for which "middle American pop culture success" is measured according to Rifle. Based on your internet persona....I just want and expect a little more for my life's experiences. To each his own........

You can't spell "special ed" without the "e" and the "d". I can see why you needed to take those other two letters.

Rifle arguing about Demi Lavato while confirming he doesn't like Metallica...

We need to work on your reading comprehension, Strawman. Arguing that somebody is extremely famous doesn't mean you support them. I despise Demi as a person; she is as fake as they come, a huge attention whore (even though she hardly needs to be), is a drama-queen, and is miserable as a person. Her music, at times, can be alright, but I prefer far more pop acts in front of her.

If somebody claimed they didn't know who Hitler was, I would also point out how famous (or infamous) he was. That doesn't mean I support or am a fan.

So "struggling" is not knowing who Demi Lavato is???

No, and this is another example of why you need to take a break and get some rest.

I didn't say you were struggling for not having ever heard of her. I said you were struggling for using such a horrendous argument (freakishly stalking on Instagram or reading tabloids) to defend your lack of American culture.

You really need to quit taking everything so personal. Just because someone doesn't know who Demi Lovato is, isn't a slam on you or your day to day business.

You're the one who took it personally, not me. It didn't bother me at all. You took it personally that I said you lacked American culture for not knowing any of those artists. For those Americans between the ages of 12-70, I would guess that 90% of them knew at least had heard of one of this list: Demi Lovato, The Band Perry, Cole Swindell, Jake Owen. It wouldn't mean they go out and buy their music or "freakishly follow them on Instagram," but 90% of that demographic would have heard of at least one of them.

To each his own........

No doubt about that.

I'm pretty sure nobody shares many of my interests. Sports is about the only way I can relate to anyone. Outside of that, it's just me and mostly people who walk around making noises in homes. I mean homes they lock you up in. But somehow I lucked into being able to also have the kind of sense to, albeit oddly, get by on my own.

The Tennessee Waltz by Pee Wee King was just played on the CD player of my GMC Sierra as I cruised up the street. The exact right volume was found to put me in almost a trance. My head turned like a dog's to the left. Damn, these ear plugs are workin' real gooooood.

You said the other day that I live in the backwards area. But, yet that is where she lives and all the other things are possible.

I am sorry the girls in Texas can't walk 15 feet to get an abortion.

You are saying disenfranchised and mistaking that for inconvenienced.

rifle should have changed his name to FootballBat. He is as odd as a football bat. hahahhaaaa

I just hope he's not mad. Seems mad. There's nothing to be mad about. Not at our age. Maybe he's mad about getting old. A man though can hold up a lot longer than a woman, can't they? Hell, a real man can probably last well into his 50s still being an actual man.

This is just from what I've seen. Certainly doesn't apply to me. 29, I went to shit worse than David Wright for the Mets. Even he's probably still a man outside of not being able to play baseball anymore.

Come on, he's still got 20 years left. Maybe that's the problem and he doesn't know it. It is kind of nice to already doze off every night thinking it's OK if I kick the bucket now. I got what I wanted and I'm OK with it.

You said the other day that I live in the backwards area.

Nope. That is not what I said. I said that you have spent the majority of your life living in the backwoods. Do you and Raleigh go to the same reading tutor in NC? That may explain this communication issue you two seem to have.

I am sorry the girls in Texas can't walk 15 feet to get an abortion.

It's more than 300 miles each way. So that you don't have to get a calculator, that is more than 600 miles roundtrip. I'm sure you can understand how laws which make people have to travel that far, stay night(s), etc. can be an issue. That is a lot of time to take off of work, money to spent, etc. for people who usually aren't in a great spot in life.

But, again, you are a white Christian male, so why would you care, eh?
