Tyler Childers at the Ryman (with Sturgill Simpson)

Raoul last night on Saturday night live was sturgill Simpson and Chris Stapleton
Look For Tyler to be in a outlaws tour with these two guys. Tyler and sturgill are very good friends. Sturgill plays guitar for Tyler whenever he can. He is a star himself but says Tyler will be known by everyone. Prediction, Tyler hits it bigger and will play on Saturday night live. I could have went to Kicking in the creek and been a guest of the laid back picker. At that outdoor festival they sell 1000 tickets and the bands get to have quests. You can hangout backstage. Free food and you get to hang out with the bands. You do have to pay for a ticket. There were around 20 bands. Tyler was the headliner. Did You know Tyler played the Indiana state fair. His dad told me at food city that they paid big money. He plays a lot with I John Prine. Done shows with with him in San Francisco and los Angeles and San Diego. I believe he played last night in new York city. Gonna be as big as Lawrence counties Ricky Skaggs. Tyler's career is hitting it big faster than Ricky did. Skaggs was the cma's artist of the year in 85. He quit school I believe in 72 and joined Ralph Stanley along with Keith Whitley. Took a decade for Ricky to become a household name

Tyler wrote most all his songs. Whitehouse rd is where he lived and most all of his friends travel with him a lot. One problem is the crowd singing along with Tyler on every song. Tyler hates that. Tyler got his start in and around Huntington opening for David prince's bands night train and Luna and the Mountain Jets. David is our history teacher here at law. Co high school. He got Tyler a lot of gigs. Now he is helping David's new band laid back country picker. He played the Rynman with Tyler and hung out with Jack White and went to kid rock's house. Kid and jack are huge Tyler fans..Live videos don't do much justice for Tyler. Listen to the ones that are not with live crowds. Check out the video Tyler and Chico "David prince" made
Tyler might have an acting career. Find this under Laid Back Picker on you tube
His motto is JUST WANNA. PLAY GOOD COUNTRY MUSIC AND TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT. Check him out. His shows are very very entertaining

Yep, this guy ain't going nowhere....

You've been reading too many posts by the preacher and tier three. I didn't say he wouldn't go anywhere. In fact, I said he could have a very successful career in that genre. What I did say was that his voice/songwriting isn't anything special to make him a huge star. I elaborated on that by saying that his genre just doesn't have the number of fans in it to make him a national, household name star.

His songwriting is his greatness. When he wins CMA artist of the year you will still run him down. Kid Rock and Jack White both planning on recording with Tyler. Come on Jack White is a genius and its Tyler's lyrics that has him a fan of Tyler. Go see one of his shows. Rifle would have said the same thing about Bob Dylan john prine or tom petty. Those guys can't sing and their songwriting sucks. Lol. You are from new York. Good lyrics would just go over your head. He is far ahead of what even I said. Sorry you don't like him.Wish you did.
