Good, I was worried there would be no more Fords filled with dope crossing the border.
Will this be anything like the "deal" with North Korea?
Seems the Mexican media is calling this a preliminary agreement, and reporting that Mexico may still insist on a trilateral deal including Canada. In other words, yeah it may turn out to be like that NK "deal".
Anyway, here is my big question: exactly who and how is going to determine if 40-45% of car is made by workers making $16 hr or more? Ford here is starting new workers at $15.50. I can tell you that even tier 1 suppliers are not paying $16 hr. That part will be interesting to me. If I seem a little too focused on the auto part, sorry, it is really the only thing in NAFTA trade I am interested in.
