It was a 2 year experiment. Most likely gone after this year. I do give the league kudos for a least trying something differentThis pod nonsense is confusing, and I see no point in it if it doesn't help get a second C-USA team to the tournament.
I think (just like last season), Pod 2 gives us the best chance to build some momentum going into the tournament. I don't think our podmates are still tinkering with their rotations/player combos this late, whereas we are definitely still a work in progress.

And when teams don’t win OOC games and build a strong overall record it is worthless. until the league as a whole starts to focus on winning as many games as possible against quality competitions we are in no better shape than the OVC or Southern Conference.
The Southern may get more than 1 team in the dance. They are strong this year. ETSU, Furman and UNCG all less than 6 total losses

SBNation website has Furman and ETSU in the field, I have seen other bracketologist have both of them as wellUm no...
ETSU is currently ranked 42 in the NET rankings. That puts them in the "at-large" conversation. UNCG (55) and Furman (72) have a lot of work to do for the SoCon to get more than one bid if ETSU is the champion.SBNation website has Furman and ETSU in the field, I have seen other bracketologist have both of them as well
