First of all, so happy with our win and love the way DD has stuck to his beliefs and has made watching Marshall hoops really fun again. Our kids have a grit and trust in one another that is beautiful to watch.

It is truly refreshing to watch great effort and "on to the next play" attitude. After watching some of our past players sulk, hang their heads, miss a play while complaining or crying to the refs, it is awesome just watching each and every man on this team bust his ass for the good of the team.

Tonight, the game turned when UTEP's scorer, Morris made a selfish, mental mistake and was called for a technical which fouled him out of the game. In Floyd's presser, he left no doubt about his distain and disappointment in his player's actions. He minced no words that "next year in practice I dare them to say anything". He drew a line in the sand about unacceptable behavior. Good for him. Next to The Herd and DD, I am now a UTEP and Tim Floyd fan.

We have seen more than our fair share of how a player thinks he is above the team. I won't name names, but three or four recent really talented former Marshall players come to mind. If you are a Herd fan, you can make a pretty good guess. That is simply not the case now and it is refreshing to see.
