Well, we have an early answer on if there may be some home cookin! If that was not an incomplete forward pass, I've never seen one!

With VT needing this win for bowl eligibility I don't anticipate us getting any calls.

Nice to get the TD but the missed extra point has me shaking my head. Why is it that we cant seem to recruit a kicker that can make field goals and extra points?
Because Doc doesn't go hard after kickers. It's that way with a lot of HCs. They just bring in a group of them as walk-ons and the best one plays.
Kickers should be pursued as hard as QBs.

I had a bad feeling! Our guys may be happy with 8 wins and Tech is playing all out and maybe they will make us pay for being their patsy! Smh
Or. Just maybe. VT is just a lot more talented than we are. Our team is showing good effort and energy we just don't have any talent advantages and we definitely don't have the coaching advantage.

Is anyone surprised our O line couldnt push a defense enough to get a half yard on 4th down?
By seeing all the non calls, he caught the punt and thought he could get away with it.
Refs are not going to help us out. They already missed to blatant PIs on throws to Brady.

It's real 6 in one hand and half a dozen in the other. Especially at that down and distance. If it was 3rd or 4th and less than 3 sure, but if that ball doesn't roll as it did it would have been the right call.
