So much for situational awareness.

I give the Louisville police a lot of shit as an organization, and they deserve it. But the majority of their officers seem to be prepared for bad shit to go down at all times. I recall an LMPD officer doing unmarked, plain clothes surveillance a year ago that had an attempted carjacking happen to him. I say attempted, because he sent the perp to meet Jesus.
