As was discussed on here, for the first time ever, Marshall made the national universities rankings for U.S. News.
The Wall Street Journal recently came out with their updated list. Although the U.S. News ranking is more popular, those in the know claim that the WSJ’s ranking is a better system. They look at far more criteria and aren’t as prone to universities being dishonest about their true numbers, which is a common occurrence with the U.S. News data.
The WSJ didn’t have Marshall within the top 600 schools. wvu was ranked in the 400-500 section. West Virginia Wesleyan was ranked in the 501-600 section.
