Much of it has to do with everyone in front of them losing. Friday the 13th was NOT kind to the top 10 with both WSU and Clemson losing...the former losing in insanely bad fashion.
Michigan has been winning ugly and dropped 2 spots despite winning this weekend.
USF is basically doing what they're supposed to be doing, winning, and everyone else is losing. UCF is the same thing as well. While I don't agree they should be ranked as high as they are, it is what it is and sometimes to move forward in line is when everyone else drops out ahead of you.
If this keeps up however, there could be a sizeable amount of G5 in the top 25 and even getting votes for sure.

It is not a poll, but I think USA Today's "re-rank" is pretty accurate. It runs 1 to 130, and it has us 39th, which is about right.

WV is a team the herd wouldnt want to play this year. They had a shot at tcu and the same with VT. Mountaineers beat texas tech which was ranked. Now wv is 23rd. Kentucky is 30th. Had they not lost by 1 point to florida they would be ranked around 15th.Marshall is 39th and with our schedule the herd should move up every week. A loss throws the herd way back. I follow the tri state teams except for osu and I dont hate them. WV and Ky will lose more and get knocked out of the top 25. The herd has a change to pass them if they win out. Do I think they are better than wv or ky,,no way
