Stop lying. That wasn't your assessment. It's why you went back and deleted your post in that same thread before I could respond.I stand behind my assessment. I don't think Huff and the admin get along, from what I gather. That means trouble in the long run. He apparantly turned down contract extensions. Marshall came out flat tonight. Maybe it was a distraction.
Where did you gather the information you admit you don’t have?I stand behind my assessment. I don't think Huff and the admin get along, from what I gather. That means trouble in the long run. He apparantly turned down contract extensions. Marshall came out flat tonight. Maybe it was a distraction.
I still think it is best if he and Marshall part ways. Nothing good is going to come from his staying. I have no inside sources, not an insiders. Just my world experience knowing things like this never end well.
Cheers!!!Crickets
Kudos to the players and coaches who’ve worked their asses off this season to get this opportunity.
Come on @The Real SamC. Where are you?
Loser.
(I suspect ‘429 is also still pondering why we couldnt lose so he could gloat.)
what did i say in that thread. they did come out flat. could see it coming a mile away. there were distractions this week.Stop lying. That wasn't your assessment. It's why you went back and deleted your post in that same thread before I could respond.
You were one of the quitters. You said you could see this coming from a mile away (when Marshall was down 17-0). You weren't trying to say that you could see Marshall coming out flat. You were agreeing with the other posters saying that Huff put nothing into this game, that Marshall was going to get blown out, etc.
Again, your claim wasn't that you knew just that Marshall would come out flat. You were saying far more than that.
Be honest, accept your deserved shitty-fan title, and admit you were drastically wrong.
You said a lot more. Said hopefully this is Huff's last year at Marshall. Marshall should have canned him a long time ago (both said while down 17-0). Said you saw this [blow out] coming a mile away.what did i say in that thread. they did come out flat. could see it coming a mile away. there were distractions this week.
Then, I also posted the words:
Horse Pussy when the field goal was missed.
So, what else did I post?
Well, it is farily common knowledge that Huff does not have a contract extension. So, he either turned one down or was never offered one. So, either way he is on the way out the door, unless there is a late deal in the next several days. There is all kinds of scuttle butt that he turned down at least one extension. If he didn't then the school did not offer one and he is in his last year.Where did you gather the information you admit you don’t have?
Of course if an employee and his bosses don’t get along things don’t usually turn out. Who would suggest otherwise?
Ok, I was wrong on the blowout. Marshall made a great combeback. I stand behind the other two statements. I am telling you this guy is trouble. I have seen this kind of thing play out 100 times in the world.Y

I would say this, Huff was immediately ridiculed his first season here. Roasted for in game decisions that cost some games. The fan base was inpatient at year two and calling for his head at year 3. All the while completely ignoring the college football landscape completely changed during this time (NIL).Frankly, I think he is trouble for the organziation he in.
Not worried about it. I could be wrong but I don't think we are losing Knute Rockne. The fans have little to do with it. It is obvious he ams the admin don't see eye to eye.I would say this, Huff was immediately ridiculed his first season here. Roasted for in game decisions that cost some games. He didn’t help himself by interviewing for other jobs soon after arriving and appears to be a little thin skinned when receiving criticism and made some comments that were easily misconstrued.
Fans needed more patience early on and needed to see the reality that was staring them in the face. Things were changing. the team and coaches never gave up the way most of the fans did. They were growing, improving, and winning.
He will take the knowledge and experience he’s gotten here and use it to build a successful program somewhere else probably next year. We will be back to square one, starting over and wondering why some good ole boy home grown local doesn’t pan out.
