Trump has sounded like a straight-up mobster this week. It's like Jimmy Conway has a Twitter account.
If plea deals did not exist the entire system would crash. The Courts could not even come close to being able to handle the case load if they had to have a trial for every case. Only option would be to dismiss everything short of the serious felonies like murder, rape, etc.
