Saw something online where you're not supposed to play a 4-7 Pitt team with everything on the line in a year ending with a 7.

That was 2007, but it is unlikely Miami can do that vs. other 1 loss teams due to weak strength of schedule, and the weakness of the team that beat them.

A one loss Miami isn't getting left out... they will have beaten Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Clemson... all ranked... two of which are top ten compared with Alabamas best win over 18 LSU..

And I abhor Miami..

Mark Richt reverted back to his UGA days and some how Bill Legg snuck in and called plays all game.

Plus Pitt seemed like they just wanted it more. Too much looking ahead to next week.

Actually Miami has one of the highest SOS and FPI ratings of all the teams still in contention for the playoffs

It probably did dash the ACC's hope of getting 2 teams in. And if Clemson gets upset today by So. Carolina and then goes on to beat Miami in the ACC championship game, the ACC could be the odd conference out this year.
