To the fireworks we had last year at the football games? The rockets with the National Anthem and when we scored? Are we that broke?

There were fireworks or some kind of explosion against Norfolk St after TD’s but from 3:30-7 in early September, they were not visual… just a popping sound.

They were supposed to be "bigger and better" too lol. They happened on time and were pretty sad.

We’ll see how it looks in a few weeks. My understanding was that Spears made some changes, but for the most part wanted to see what worked and what didn’t before planning a broader overhaul.

Man I hope so, because it was just 4 mortar rounds that went off at once. I was expecting them after every score and more than one round.

I've heard that the 1.25 million we got from the Notre Dame game has been earmarked for Fireworks, Steam Cleaning the Stadium and Goalposts, the installation of Gold-plated Self Flushing Toilets, Botox for Touchdown Ronald, and to hire AC/DC to play Thunderstruck LIVE at every home game.

OK, that’s about $523 so what are we going to do with the rest of the money?

No kidding. Fireworks? Gee wiz
Life is tough. “Mediocrity” rolled out of town a couple seasons ago, 1 year of team adjustments last year with a new guy…and here we are….But but but fireworks!!!

I fully expect any type of slip up this season…and the torches and pitchforks will be back out. I for one, plan on using “young team” excuse for at least the next 3 seasons to justify my support.

The only reason we're discussing this is because they sent out an email to season ticket holders that said the fireworks would be "bigger and better" than last year. It just raises your curiosity a bit and we're discussing it. I know. I know. We're not real fans because we just don't accept everything and anything no matter what because Marshall does it.

I’m a season ticket holder too. I must have missed that correspondence.

speaking of bitching, moaning, and super fandom….does Sammy have season tickets or even attend home games? I saw a question he posed asking if the McDonalds was still behind the stadium. I figured with a guy that devoted to Marshall football would know what’s around the stadium.

Man. If someone doesn't know if McDonald's is still there then they probably haven't been to a home game in a really long time.

But yea. An email from "Marshall Athletics" was sent out that said the following.

It is Huntington. A “better” fireworks display would most likely include bottle rockets and M-80s
