What I am seeing today

Are teams that are excited to play, encouraging each other and hustling.
Lots of imaginative play calling and schemes.

I saw nothing close to that last night or against Rice.
What you're seeing are teams with capable coaching staffs.

What you’re watching is consequential football. That’s why it looks different. ;-|

You know 5 years ago, people would not even talk to me until Monday when the Herd lost a game I was so upset. Now I don't even care that much. It's like oh well we lost not unexpected. If it keeps going like this will probably not even bother watching any more. It is like ok before the game starts just give the win to whoever won the coin toss.

Yeah, in years past, my gut would be tied up in knots on game day because I was so nervous about how we would play. Even my dogs could sense there was something different about how I would react when THAT game came on, as compared to the others I had been watching that day. They would get up and leave the room; I guess they didn’t care for the language, or how loud I might be “talking” to the team on the screen. That no longer happens, I don’t get nervous, and the dogs sit right next to me the whole game....if I even finish watching it. Last year I didn’t watch but maybe a few games. This year I felt that old fire coming back, until the Rice game. I won’t watch the bowl game, and refuse to get suckered in again by Doc’s shit show, if he somehow remains the coach. It is truly sad that the university has allowed this to go on for as long as it has. They need to clean house and start anew!
