What the h*ll is going on with Cato?

No idea, but his coach said he was back in Montreal as of a Tweet 5 hours ago.

good. i read an article yesterday that said he was still in miami, had been for a couple weeks (they had a few weeks off), but he needed to be back by today as they start game prep for sunday's game.

Sounds like he is screwing up his pro football opportunity. He missed the last game because of "family problems" or something. The Alloutes have had a couple of weeks between these games but they have been practicing without him.

He is an adult!!

Or his injury is worse than than the team is letting on and with the bye week coming they told him to go home and rest and "family problems" was just a cover for not disclosing how bad the injury was. That's what I'm hoping at least.

Someone said on the Alouettes board that some family members were in a bad accident.

It may be that one of his siblings were in bad accident. If thats the case, I don't blame him for being there. We don't know the full story. I seriously doubt he would just take two weeks off for nothing. Give him a little more credit than that.

Cato was back at practice yesterday, but Crompton is practicing with the ones. As soon as Crompton screws up, expect Cato to enter the game on Sunday against Winnipeg.

Word is that one of Cato's sisters was seriously injured in an auto accident - so he went back to Liberty City. Family first!

There was a pretty extended news story out of Montreal that is one of the first things to come up if you do a Google News search for the team.

Apparently he had a close family member, probably a sibling, get in a car accident in Boca Raton and went back to be with them.

While he was gone, the team got a new offensive coordinator, so Cato is catching up again. The coach said he has looked good in practice and they might play all 3 QBs in the next game. I imagine they will end up going back to Cato once he gets up to speed again. No big deal.

Well, a death in the family is indeed a big deal.

Hate to hear that.. I was hoping the team had just been sent him home to rest the hip since they had a few weeks off and that there really wasn't anything like that for Cato to deal with.. Kid's dealt with enough in his life as is.
