1986-87........The "B" is either Brian Fish or Brian Jointer.

That team went 25-6 and won the Southern Conference. Lost in the 1st round of the NCAA to TCU.

Personally thought we got shafted a bit that year with a #13 seed.....TCU was ranked #19 nationally.

Pretty cool piece of Herd history.

Looking at it now Brian fish is the name I could not figure out.

It is really cool. It is displayed in between a matched pair of large blenko vases that I have been told were wedding presents to my grandparents in 1923(?).

It is unique. There were 5 given to the 5 Cabell county United Way volunteer team leaders that year. My mother was the grants person at Red Cross and was one of the team leaders.

Would post a picture but photobucket is down for maintenance. When they are back up will post a pic.

Sig: Don't have a clue what it would be worth even if I wanted to sell it, which I don't. Curry Haggarty was a year behind me at Milton High School. If I was to want to get rid of it, I would more than likely try to find him and present it to him.
