Have a friend whose son is making these items. What do you think is a fair price for them? First one is H- 3" W-4.5" Deep 3."
Second one is H- 7.5: W- 6.5" Deep- 4"

That first one reminds me that I really need to look into some custom molded earplugs.

Very cool. I especially like the last one. Great Job!

As I said earlier, these were done by a son of a friend of mine. Care to say what you think is a reasonable price for one or more of the items? I was hoping to get some honest replies to help him determine an asking price.

How much was material and how much time in each one. Obviously no less than $15/hr. This kid has to have a living wage

Ok. Here's how cute your reply is: if the material is free and he makes 50 of these in an hour, the fair price is no less than 30 cents each? moron.

Pottery Barn would probably charge about $150. I about fell over like Fred Sanford the time I went in there and looked around.

Sears or somewhere like that, I'm guessing around $69.95.

smart ass responses like this is why nobody provides you with an appropriate answer to the question posed. You would be better served to continue your charade of acting like Maxine Watters.

Having looked online (etsy in particular, matlack) the 1st piece I'd say in the $35 range and the second piece around $60. The larger piece I couldn't find any good comparisons for.
Now I'm no wood artisan so I could be way off.

You and everyone else know he's not making 50 of those an hour and know that the material wasn't free unless he's chopping down his own trees. If he's using the scraps from the carpenters guild, they had to get the wood somewhere too.
Your reply was the one that was an attempt to be "cute"

No, you know no such thing. The "kid" may have a cnc machine that'll crank out 50 of these from what would otherwise be waste from other projects. So, you're attempt at being "cute" again is a big fail.

Then he's not doing them the cnc machine is. Since it's all profit charge $20 and be done with it

The first two pieces are really cool. I have no idea of what to say for price though, but I would guess $25 and $60, respectively.

The final piece with the drawers looks like something on the Flintstones, only made of wood. I would guess $150

If you would be willing to pay that kind of dough for those pieces, then I want you to drive up and purchase something from me I'm willing to sell you for $200.00. Bring your pickup truck with you. BTW, you do know I77 runs through Ohio, don't cha?

Never said I would pay that much for those pieces. I see that as a starting point and let people negotiate down, but there are tons of fruity people out there who would like those things.

I doubt much market in Wayne, WV.

Might try NYC, or San Jose area. Though San Jose---Mexicans probably selling them much cheaper, since not reporting the sale.

Illegals doing things illegally. Who would have thought?
