We are currently 2-6 with 4 games remaining - 2 away and 2 at home. When was the last time Marshall won only TWO (2) games: 1981 (Sonny Randle) - 35 years ago. When was the last time we won only THREE (3) games: 2007 (Mark Snyder) - 9 years ago. And when was the last time we won only FOUR (4) games: 2008 (Mark Snyder) - 8 years ago. The point is that we have only four games remaining. Is our season thus going to end at 2-10; 3-9, or 4-8? Whichever you pick this season and team and coaches = disaster! MH time to have that talk with Doc and for Doc to fire some coaches to save himself. JMO

Why Hamrick was foolish to give Holliday a contract extension when he did. Tell me and all who post here exactly what are the names of the programs Hamrick is afraid to lose Holliday to .....well....ah...well

Then again he did the same thing with Herrion as well as if memory serves Snyder.

Doc deserves a chance to fix this . He can start by getting new staff. I don't know who he needs to fire probably Legg for sure but he will be back next year. He cant afford to have 2 bad seasons in a row.

Understood but if Doc can't see what is happening because Legg has the most unsophisticated vanilla offense in CUSA then Doc himself needs to be replaced.

Legg will be here as long as Holliday is. And this is coming from someone who has disliked Legg even through the Cato years.

Greenhouse you have to be kidding. I agree we cannot lay this disaster solely on Littons shoulders but there is absolutely no comparison to the schedule Cato face as a sophomore versus this schedule (excepting Louisville and Pitt).

Against good teams Litton will not play well. Too weak and slow. He is throwing high because he is afraid to set and throw because of the hit against akron. Legg is so stupid he let litton stay in the game hurt, not knowing what the hell he was doing for 3 quarters. When Litton got hurt legg knew our only chance of winning was leaving him in the game. We should be able to run against these weak teams but we are now weak ourselfs. Pu''ies on the oline.

Herrion had two good seasons his first 2 years at MU and Hamrick gave him an extension or rollover after year 2, when we got into the NIT. It cost MU several hundred thou $$$$ when Tom was let go after year 4.

Doc was given a nice extension after last season. Does anyone know for sure that ANY "power" school was seriously considering Doc as their head coach at that time? I mean there were rumors that he was under consideration by Pitt about the time they hired Narduzzi a few years back. But I don't think that really anyone got as serious about him as Houston did about Bob Pruett about a decade or so ago!!!

It has been 35 years ago since we only won two games - 1981 under Sonny Randle. Are we doomed to repeat?
