The author of those articles (milo yiannopoulos) is a flamboyantly gay dude that just trolls on the internet.

He's kind of crazy, but he sells out auditoriums on campuses and gets big numbers of downloads when he's on popular podcasts (like Joe Rogan) because there is an internet generation of kids (yes, mostly white kids, but they still have valid opinions) that:

• Don't care about whether or not someone is gay
• Are tired of social justice warriors, black lives matters, and safe spaces (some of this push back actually made the University of Chicago tell Freshman they can forget about their "safe spaces" or "trigger warnings" where you isolate yourself from differing opinions) making them feel like they can't even speak up on some topics.
• Are tired of alternative views like wanting to deal with immigration or all lives matter being labeled as racist and being instantly labeled that way rather than evaluating the merits of their arguments
• Being told that the only reason they can/are getting ahead in life is due to white privledge and discounting any of their own accomplishments or hard work

Hillary et al can frame the "alt right" as racist in a business suit, but I'm not sure she should have drawn attention to it, because I think it may actually hurt her. I don't know though, I'm far from a political strategist.

I've listened to a couple of Yiannopoulos' interviews on Rogan's podcast. He definitely loves to troll liberals but the guy is a lot sharper than I would have imagined. In a lot of ways he reminds me of Christopher Hitchens.

Oh he's no idiot. He likes to troll. Sometimes he gets side tracked with fat shaming or whatever, but he could really be a thorn in the side of the left as a gay dude who loves black men (he loves to talk about sexual escapades with black dudes) but is against most of the PC/victimhood as currency leftist agenda. It's hard to pigeonhole a character like him.

He has a lot of compelling arguments that came to fruition unfortunately after the Orlando night club massacre. He had been saying the biggest threat to gays was not conservatives but was Islam long before Orlando happened. He was just labeled as a racist and shouted down though (which is the strategy from Hillary it appears).

Sometimes he seems really bright, then other times I think he's just trolling and making as much money in the process as possible. Hard to know.
