That's a good, quick read.
I'll add another small sector not mentioned but easily extrapolated from this article - H1B Visa expansion. Lots of bachelor's or masters level US graduates in STEM or IT jobs are being lost to companies that put up this sham argument that they "can't find skilled US graduates" so they need H1B workers at pennies on the dollar while under employed well trained US grads sit on the sidelines. I saw this go on at a major basic science research institute where I used to be.
Traditionally, republicans have pretty much done most of what any business would want them to do, but Trump (largely backed by data and info by Jeff Sessions) was on top of this issue and it obviously was a small sliver of the voting people that cared about this issue, but it was another segment of the population that was previously ignored (by both sides, really).

With all that said, Hillary is/was an awful candidate and that variable is probably reason 1, part B in the Trump victory. I still think Bernie would have won the presidency had the DNC not have completely sabotaged his campaign and put up a sham primary rigged with super delegates, leakage of debate questions, and media hit pieces on him.
