Why Not McDaniel and Payne

Both Knowledge McDaniel and Ethan Payne showed us what they are capable of in the last game but didn’t get a sniff against ECU? Why? Here are two players who demonstrated they are more then capable power running backs. Hope they get more playing time to avoid frustration and look at that killer transfer portal.

I’d like to see both get some carries against defensive starters. Isn’t Payne a true freshman? If so, he won’t get into more than 4 games to preserve the redshirt.

People get mad at the coach for not playing someone...when it turns out, maybe there's something going on behind the scenes we're not aware of.

Knowledge obviously has some things going on, and maybe has had them (hence the limited playing time) for a while.
Sucks he didn't seem to get better off the field.

Nope. This recent news is just now known. Huff has said that practice habits were why McDaniel wasn't playing. Said he was learning to keep the pace that Huff wants practice to be ran at. Huff said in HS you run a play and stand around for 5-10 minutes, but at our practice it's non stop and everyone is taking reps all the time.
