Just in case people are thinking COVID is an excuse for not playing teams, Wisconsin was favored to win their division.

Fair point, but the Big Ten doesn't let its teams screw around like C-USA does though.
We don't know that...plenty of Big 10 coaches went against their presidents in terms of wanting to play.
Some tried to show an approach that would work. Harbaugh did, and his method looked good, in fact he studied too much on COVID he forgot how to coach.

While I wasn't even for sports opening when they did initially, this shows that MU can miss...what, a month of football? And still end up with more games and a conference title shot than a school with tens of millions in resources themselves?

Its almost as though, allowing the multiple margins for error CUSA has, has actually helped them...unlike the Big 10, who felt their leadership was above everyone, is going to hurt one of their more marquee teams.
Just an observation.
